UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos responded to an accusation of steroid use today, in a video published by MMA Weekly.

Dos Anjos, who faces Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the main event of UFC on Fox 17 this weekend, says his record — having never tested positive for a banned substance — speaks for itself.

‘This guy has to make accusations,” Dos Anjos said of Cerrone. “He can take anything, the fights not going to change. do whatever. Take an IV. It’s not going to change anything. I think he’s trying to make accusations but I have a clean record. A guy just told me he’s been tested once, but I’ve been tested four times. You’ll see. Dec 19 he’s going to get what he deserves. I want to see what he says afterwards.”

The fight, which takes place in Orlando, Florida, is a rematch of a 2013 bout which was won by Dos Anjos. But the champ says he’s training just as hard as ever.

“I always say in my interviews, if I fight the top, number one guy, or the number the thirty guy, I would train the same way,” he says. “I’ve been training for the best, five months. I’m coming with the mindset not to win by decision. I know I have 25 minutes to beat him… but man, I don’t see this fight going five rounds.”
