As former champ BJ Penn prepares to take on the up and comer Rory Macdonald at UFC 152, he releases a video blog, updating us on his Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) testing. Also, Penn talks about hopes of making his return to his original camp of AKA for the end of his training. There’s a problem however. Recent opponent, and possible future adversary Jon Fitch now leads the team and he is not keen on The Prodigy training side-by-side with him.

We’re in Honolulu training and will be here for a month. We’re going to see where we are going to train. We’re trying to get up to AKA, but Fitch is trying to give me some problems. All Jon Fitch has to do is look on the wall. Who’s picture is on the wall holding the belt? That’s all Jon Fitch has to know.

Clearly verbal shots are fired back at the AKA captain. It should be interesting to see who the coach of AKA, Dave Camarillo will choose to side with in the matter. Penn is the original student of AKA and may in fact trump the current captain as he is correct in saying that he is the man to bring the gold belt into the camp. Something that Fitch has been unable to do as of now.
