Paige Van Zant may be way too green to be worthy of a fight with UFC champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk, but she’s scrappy as hell and pretty damn easy on the eyes. And with her performance in the opening bout of tonight’s UFC 191 main card, the UFC has to be happy that their budding star is keeping her win streak alive.

For about all of Rounds 1 and 2, Van Zant battered Alex Chambers, and Aussie who was totally overmatched in this contest. Nailing her with punches, knees and elbows against the fence, Van Zant did what Van Zant does, which is whittle opponents down until they’re nothing in the later rounds. Chambers struggled to stay alive, but she was a shell of a person by the time the third round came around.

The end came when Van Zant snapped her head down to the canvas, straddled her, and swiveled into a armbar when a minute and one second had expired.

Van Zant keeps on winning, but she needs more time if she ever wants to win the title.
