Following the UFC on FX 8: Belfort vs. Rockhold card, featuring a main and co-main bout in the middleweight division, it should come as no surprise that the UFC has updated the weight classes rankings. Not too much of a mix up as Belfort had already been ranked number two and Luke Rockhold and Ronaldo Souza practically swapping spots.

Champion : Anderson Silva

1 Chris Weidman

2 Vitor Belfort

3 Yushin Okami

4 Michael Bisping

5 Costa Philippou

6 Ronaldo Souza (up two spots)

7 Luke Rockhold  (down two spots)

8 Mark Munoz (down one spot)

9 Chael Sonnen

10 Tim Boetsch

The growth for Jacare may have likely been bigger, if he would of taken on his original opponent Costa Philippou. Unfortunately, he was pulled due to injury and replaced with the lower ranked Chris Camozzi, who he walked (or crawled) right through. Former top three contender Mark Munoz has dropped a spot, likely due to inactivity from healing injuries. So now the question, agree with new rankings?
