The Stockton stand-out, Nate Diaz has earned his title shot. Following the bout, there were some talks that Nate may had not earned the title shot, despite the emphatic win. Diaz was asked by Fuel TV’s Ariel Helwani about his thoughts on who was next for him, should he not be granted his earlier promised title shot.

Even though the Diaz brothers have been labeled by many as ‘bad-tempered,’ the young talent responded calmly with fewer than usual expletives.

“I don’t care what happens. I’ll be back training tomorrow. Guaranteed. I’ll be ready to fight next week. I’ve been going hard for the last seven years. I’m not saying I want to wait out some long, drawn-out shit, I ain’t no bitch.”

Diaz says that he is ready to fight whomever the UFC wants to give him, in any turnaround, whether that is in a week or a few months. Luckily for Diaz, he will in fact wait for the winner of the Sept. rematch between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar.
