An interesting lightweight tilt between the 12-0 Myles Jury and TUF 16 finalist Mike Ricci appears to be set for UFC 165, which will go down September September 21st in Toronto, Ontario. The news comes just days after the UFC announced that the card will be headlined by a light-heavyweight tilt between champ Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.

MMA was the first to report the Jury-Ricci match-up, and MMA has also confirmed the bout’s a go.

Jury (12-0) has won three straight bouts under the UFC banner, after he competed in TUF 15 and lost by split decision to Al Iaquinta. Jury submitted Chris Saunders at the TUF 15 Finale, worked his way to UD win over Michael Johnson at UFC 155, and then most recently he KO’d Ramsey Nijem at UFC on FOX 7.

Ricci (8-3) will be looking to record his second UFC victory, as the Tristar fighter is coming off a UD victory over Colin Fletcher at UFC 158, after falling by decision to Colton Smith in the TUF 16 finale. The bout, as did the TUF 16 competition, took place at welterweight.  The only other two men to defeat Ricci to date are UFC vet Daron Cruickshank and current Bellator champ Pat Curran.

UFC 165 will be hosted by Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. Looks like the card is already off to a pretty solid start.
