Announced earlier today Melvin Guillard is set to square off with Fabricio Camoes at UFC 148. This fight may be one of  the most important fights Guillard has had, being that if he loses, he may be cut from the UFC.

Guillard was up for a possible title shot not long ago, but with two consecutive losses, he has some work to do before he can be considered a top lightweight in the UFC once again.

His opponent Fabricio Camoes, has been doing quite well from himself, as he has won his past three fights. His last fight being over Tom Hayden in January, where he earned the victory via submission.
