Chalk this up to a win for the UFC marketing and promotional departments. Even though Mark Hunt is only in the co-main event of the UFC on Fuel TV 8 card, he is going to be a big draw in Japan. He once was a big thing in the birth place of PRIDE FC because of his epic fights with PRIDE’s superstars and his kickboxing matches in the K-1 promotion. This promo just has Hunt talking with highlights of his career interceded in the video. It may be his accent or the way he is so nonchalant when he talks about the act of fighting someone, but you get the vibe that Hunt is a very bad man with some very bad intentions for his opponents.
At UFC on Fuel TV 8 he faces Stefan Struve, which is a fight that was supposed to happen a year ago at UFC 146, but an injury to Hunt kept him out of the bout and the fight game. Struve went on to face Lavar Johnson, who he submitted in the first round, and later in 2012 he took out Stipe Miocic by TKO. With a win in this fight, Struve would be 7-1 in his last eight fights, and he may finally find himself in a title shot. Just watching the promo makes you hope that March 3 is tomorrow.
