It seems Georges St-Pierre’s young apprentice, Rory Macdonald has a different attitude on the martial arts way. During a recent interview with Canada’s Sportsnet 590 – the young talent responded aggressively on the topic of his recent injury and in response to his opponents trash talk.

Did Tristar fire the training partner that elbowed you? (Paraphrased)

“Once I knew what it was [a gashing cut], I grabbed him and I suplexed him like he was Nate Diaz!”

MacDonald then went on to respond to the claims from BJ Penn, claiming that Rory pulled out of the fight “because he knew he wasn’t going to win”. That did not sit well with Macdonald.

“(laughs) that’s just a bunch of bullshit, not only do I know I’m going to win but I’ll probably end up killing him in the process.”

MacDonald also went on to mention that he would really like the Carlos Condit rematch as he would like to avenge his only loss in the Octagon to date.
