The UFC will look to make its third appearance on Fox broadcasting May 5 from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, as they hold another triple header event.

President of the UFC, Dana White has announced that Josh Koscheck (15-5) will fight top welterweight prospect Johny Hendricks (12-1) on the Memorial weekend event.

Koscheck was recently seen edging a controversial split decision over Mike Pierce at UFC 143. Ref. Herb Dean had been criticized after the bout for the lack of points taken from Koscheck for eye gauging after a warning. Inconsistencies were questioned as earlier on the card Alex Cacares suffered a decision loss after Ref. Dean took 2-points for a crotch shot after a warning.

A new and exciting face in the UFC, Johny Hendricks was last seen with his 12-second KO of top contender Jon Fitch at UFC 141. With three-straight in the Octagon, the upcoming fight looks to spell out title shot implications for the 7-1 prospect.
