But who should fight on what will surely be a monumental affair? Since he calls Long Island home, UFC middleweight champ Chris Weidman thinks he’s the obvious choice…

…But another choice would be light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones, who lives north of the Big Apple in Upstate New York. Of course, there is a third option, and it’s one that involves Weidman and Jones clashing in a catchweight superfight. Weidman seemed amenable to that idea when it was discussed on his recent appearance on UFC Tonight. The fans did too, apparently, with someone going so far as to bring it up to Jones himself.
