Batman had Robin. The Tick had Arthur. And it seems our favorite superhero/crimefighter/UFC champ – a lady by the name of Ronda Rousey – has got her very own sidekick as well. Her name is Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Okay, not really, but that’s what it seems like. Because while both are headlining tomorrow’s UFC 193 event in Australia, with Rousey in the main event opposite Holly Holm and Jedrzejczyk in the co-main against Valerie Letourneau, all eyes are on Rousey.

And the strawweight champ is totally fine with that.

As per MMAJunkie:

“I’m happy to be here,” Jedrzejczyk told MMAjunkie. “I’m happy that I’m going to fight with Ronda, finally, so big thanks (to the UFC) for this huge opportunity. I like this part of my job.”

“People are just going to get a chance to see me,” she later added.

For now, the Jedrzejczyk crowd is significantly smaller than that of her fellow female champ. But the idea of breaking away from the star and forging her own identity, one equally powerful and separate, is not something she thinks about at this moment.

Jedrzejczyk is happy with what she has, and that’s a big platform upon which to perform.

“Ronda is the right person to be the headliner,” she said.

You gotta love Jedrzejczyk. Her attitude is awesome, and she’s a killer in the cage. What more can you ask for?
