There seems to be some contradicting reports concerning Ultimate Fighter 20 competitor Paige VanZant.

In an interview recently, Urijah Faber stated that VanZant would not be part of the cast for the all-female season and that she was instead signed directly to the UFC’s strawweight roster.

“Paige has now signed straight with the UFC,” Faber told

However, on Twitter, VanZant seemed surprised by the news.

When a fan asked posted to her “Sad to hear you won’t be part of TUF 20 but very excited to hear you are being signed,” VanZant replied back, “Where can I find the article?”

She added a post saying “Rumors have started ciculating that I will not be on TUF 20. I have not been told this information and as of now will be on the show” but later deleted it. Below is a picture VanZant posted back in February of her official UFC contract.

The fighter is just 20 years old, having celebrated her birthday a few days ago. She is 3-1 in her MMA career, including a 2013 loss to Tecia Torres.
