Everyone loves a good underdog story and Mark Hunt has continued to deliver on that. Knocking out seven foot tall Stefan Struve at UFC on Fuel 8 in Saitama Japan is no easy feat, yet that is exactly what he was able to do.

After having some success in the stand-up, Hunt actually worked from the guard. Unfortunately he was not able to do so well, as Struve was able to land elbows with ease from the bottom.  spending a good amount of the second round on the ground again, it wasn’t until Struve started to exchange with Struve when the big left hook was landed by Hunt, which rocked his opponent to the core, as it was waived off.

Now riding a four-fight win streak, Hunt is likely no longer an under dog. Taking out Chris Tuchscherer, Ben Rothwell, Cheick Kongo and now Stefan Struve, “The Super Samoan” may be knocking on title contention with one more.
