Dan Henderson was not too happy to hear of Vitor Belfort’s shots taken at him regarding a rumor of him ‘dodging’ Belfort’s recent challenger, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. Henderson adamantly denies that such an offer was ever made.

That’s not true, this fight was never offered to me,” Dan said through an interpreter, his BJJ coach Ricardo Feliciano. “Steroids might be killing Vitor’s neurons, he’s getting crazy to say something like that.”

The two do have bad blood as they fought back in 2006 for Pride FC. Henderson was able to pull out the victory, and to add insult to injury, Belfort failed his post-fight drug test for banned substance 4-hydroxytestoterone, leading to his one year suspension.

A rematch is a possibility as both men are currently floating in middleweight contention. Though Henderson is aiming at a light heavyweight title shot against Jon Jones, should Rashad Evans come out victorious Sat. on UFC on Fox 2, he will likely trump Henderson for the shot.
