According to a report out of Brazil by Tatame, Dan Henderson and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will try to duplicate their incredible five-round war from 2011 in March.

The site is reporting that the light heavyweights will headline a Fight Night card from Brazil later this year. The card is expected to take place March 23 from Natal.

Henderson (29-11) earned a decision over the former UFC light heavyweight champion back at UFC 139. Since that time, though, Henderson has lost three straight.

After sitting out all of 2012 while waiting for a title shot earned in his win over Rua, the ex-Strikeforce champion suffered a knee injury. He returned last February and lost via split decision to Lyoto Machida.

A few months later, Henderson lost to another former UFC champion by split decision in Rashad Evans. He concluded the calendar year with a knockout loss at the hands of Vitor Belfort – the fourth consecutive former UFC champion he faced.

Henderson is believed to still be working on a new contract with the UFC.

Rua (22-8) snapped a two-fight losing skid in December with a knockout victory over James Te Huna. He finished Brandon Vera after the Henderson loss, but was topped by both Alexander Gustafsson and Chael Sonnen.

The card has yet to be made official, with rumored bouts announced including Ronny Markes-Thiago Santos, Fabio Maldonado-Gian Villante and Cezar Ferreira-C.B. Dollaway.
