Former Bellator champion Hector Lombard looks at Matt Brown’s seven-fight win streak and is not as impressed as others.

Lombard (34-4-1), who recently defeated Jake Shields, took to Twitter to continue his campaign for a fight with Brown. The two are the only top-ranked welterweights without a fight lined up at the moment other than injured champion Johny Hendricks and injured former champ Carlos Condit.

“Never fought a Former Champion or a top 10 guy and getting all the hype not impress by you (Brown),” Lombard posted.

The 33-year-old Brown (19-11) finished Erick Silva earlier this month, earning his sixth finish among his last seven victories. He’s also topped Mike Pyle, Jordan Mein, Mike Swick and Stephen Thompson during his run.

Prior to his recent winning ways, “The Immoral” had lost three of four – all via submission – with the UFC. Overall, he has gone 12-5 since signing with the promotion in 2008.

Lombard has scored back-to-back wins after going 1-2 in his first three UFC appearances. He finished Nate Marquardt last October, and both losses have come via split decision to Yushin Okami and Tim Boetsch.
