Hector Lombard has yet to make his debut into the UFC, but already has his eyes on someone he wants next. Surprisingly, it is not Anderson Silva; the one person everyone wants to fight. No, Hector wants to fight none other than Mark Munoz.

“He’s been talking a lot of trash about me. I’m one of those fighters that I don’t like to talk about any fighter. I’m focused on myself. When I see people that do the wrong things, I have to do something about it.”

Now, it has not only been Mark Munoz calling Lombard out, Michael Bisping and his current opponent Tim Boestch have made remarks as well. They have only been doing so because they feel he is leap frogging them to the title. The question was posed if Lombard would give up a title shot for a fight with Munoz.

“One hundred percent. You got it. I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t want to talk about him. I just want to fight him. I want to fight him bad.”

Don’t think this need to fight Munoz has hindered his ability to focus on his fight this Saturday. As Lombard stated,

“Saturday, I’m focused on this fight, and after that, I’m going to call Mark Munoz out. I’m focused on the fight. that’s my goal. I’m going to make a statement. After that, I’m going to beat up Mark Munoz.”
