Conor McGregor and Rory MacDonald might not appear to have much in common, but they do have a level of respect for one another as fighters.

MacDonald posted a video of McGregor’s documentary on Twitter Tuesday night, adding “I believe (McGregor) will be a dominant champion.”

McGregor responded, offering congratulations for MacDonald’s most recent win, which netted him a future UFC welterweight title fight.

That all led to MacDonald, a member of Tristar Gym in Canada, extending his hand to work with McGregor in the future.

McGregor will return to action in January against Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 59, while MacDonald is slated to challenge the winner of Johny Hendricks-Robbie Lawler for the title in 2015.
