UFC Welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre has some big news to release this Friday, as reports have surfaced that his management team had relayed to TVA Sports that he will be making an announcement during an appearance. At this point it’s 50/50 as to whether it be retirement or a rematch against his last opponent Johny Hendricks. Here’s what “Rush’s” head trainer Firas Zihabi recently exclaimed —

“I don’t know. It’s 50/50 and I don’t think he knows either,” said the Tristar head trainer. “I think if he ends it this way, it was good. He ended up with Fight of the Night. An incredible seesaw battle. He showed heart, he showed guts, he showed he’s a fighter.”

Come Friday, Dec. 13, we will be covering the event live as it takes place in Quebec City.

Update: Dana White seems to have some insight on the announcement.
