Glover Teixeira returned to his winning ways earlier this month, and it looks like he’s intent on keeping momentum going.

The former UFC title challenger snapped a two fight losing streak back on August 8, earning a submission victory over Ovince Saint Preux at UFC Fight Night Nashville. Today, his next assignment was officially announced.

On November 7, at UFC Fight Night 77 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Teixeira will face another of the promotion’s top ranked light heavyweights in Patrick Cummings. The announcement was made by UFC Senior Vice President and General Manager of Brazil Giovani Decker today, and was originally reported by MMA Junkie.

The bout will be a homecoming of sorts for the 35 year old Teixeira, who is 23-4 as a professional (6-2 in the UFC). Teixeira resides in Danbury, Connecticut but was born and raised in Brazil. He is currently ranked #3 among light heavyweights in the UFC’s official rankings.

Brazil has become a familiar destination for Cummins, who is officially ranked tenth among UFC light heavyweights. The Pennsylvania native, who fights out of California, has fought two of his last three bouts in Brazil — including his last Octagon appearance, a TKO win over Rafael Cavalcante. Cummins is 8-2 in MMA overall, and 4-2 in the UFC.

UFC Fight Night 77 is headlined by a middleweight bout between Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort. It is expected to air on Fox Sports 1.
