The full lineup for UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston, MA was released today at the UFC official website — pending, of course, their usual disclaimer: “fights are verbally agreed upon and may change at any time.”

The event, scheduled for 18 January at the TD Garden, is headlined by a pairing of two of the promotion’s top ranked featherweights: Conor McGregor of Ireland, who promises to command the attention of Boston’s substantial Irish-American population, and Dennis Siver of Germany.

A solid lightweight main event serves as co-main, with former titlist Benson Henderson fighting longtime Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez.

The international theme continues on main card, which is rounded out by Jamaica-born Uriah Hall vs. Costas Philippou of Cyprus at middleweight, and Brazilian Gleison Tibau vs. Norman Parke of Northern Ireland at lightweight.

Ireland’s light heavyweight Cathal Pendred appears among the preliminary bouts. Sadly missing is Aisling Daly, the women’s strawweight contender who scored an armbar submission earlier this month at The Ultimate Fighter Finale.
