Diego Brandao, a former winner of The Ultimate Fighter, has been given a temporary suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

The 28-year-old Brandao (21-9) tested positive for marijuana metabolites during an in-competition drug test ahead of his loss at UFC 195 to Brian Ortega. The contest took place in Las Vegas, falling under the jurisdiction of the NAC.

Brandao exceeded the WADA limit of 180 ng/ml, as well as the NAC limit of 150 during the test. He is scheduled for a hearing in front of the NAC board, where they will likely give him a fine and suspension.

Winner of Season 14 of TUF, Brandao has posted a 6-4 record over his UFC career. He was coming off consecutive wins over Jimy Hettes and Katsunori Kikuno before loss to Ortega via submission.
