Fresh off his submission victory over Sage Northcutt, Bryan Barberena will get another shot at handing a fighter his first pro loss when he takes on Warlley Alves this year.

Officials announced the bout for the planned May 14 event in Brazil. The card is expected to be renamed to UFC 198 and feature Stipe Miocic challenging Fabricio Werdum for the heavyweight title.

Last month, Barberena (11-3) jumped all over Northcutt, bloodying him up in the first round before securing a tap-out in the second. The win moved him to 2-1 within the Octagon and 8-1 over his last nine fights.

Alves (10-0) dealt Colby Covington his first pro loss last December with a first round submission. He captured the Season 3 title of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil back in 2014 with a submission of Marcio Alexandre, Jr. and is 4-0 with the UFC.

Currently, the card features Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza vs. Vitor Belfort, Demian Maia vs. Matt Brown and Patrick Cummins vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
