All drug tests have came back clean for UFC 125: ‘Resolution’ except for one. Following an impressive victory over Brandon Vera at UFC 125, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has flagged Thiago Silva’s performance enhancing drug test. Though yet to be an official positive or negative result, this may lend some evidence to the Rampage vs Evans 2 rumor. If the test is positive for any illegal substances Silva could be facing a lengthy 6-12 month layoff removing him from his upcoming fight at UFC 130 against Rampage Jackson. The UFC had this to say on the matter.
“All we know is that it’s still processing. We haven’t gotten any positive. We haven’t gotten any negative. At this point we have no reason to expect that it’s going to be anything but a negative result – negative meaning Thiago’s clear.”
