As all UFC fans remember, Rich Franklin pulled off a huge victory this last Saturday at UFC 115, when he knocked out former light-heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell. And the most amazing part was that Franklin did it with a broken left ulna, an injury he suffered earlier in the fight when he blocked one of Liddell’s kicks.

After the fight Franklin tweeted that he would be in a cast for the next two months at least and would have to undergo surgery to fix his forearm. But for now he has avoided the surgery…for three weeks at least.

“My cast will stay on for the nxt 3 wks. We will tak new x-rays then. Looks like the bone will heal wo surg.”

So according to Franklin’s most recent tweet, he may not need surgery at all. Let’s hope not, get well soon Ace!
