It’s official, the Strikeforce vs UFC welterweight super fight has been made between Georges St-Pierre (22-2) and Nick Diaz (25-7-1) for UFC 137 on October 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV according to UFC president Dana White.

St-Pierre will be looking to keep his nine fight winstreak alive as he comes off the decimation of Diaz’s training partner Jake Shields at UFC 129.

Diaz will also come to the table with an impressive 10 fight winstreak including a recent first round TKO of Paul Daley, which had the UFC president out of his chair with enthusiasm.

With the Strikeforce/UFC championship super fight match-up precedence taking place now, what could we expect next? What would you like to see next? Henderson vs Jones, Overeem vs Velasquez, or Melendez vs the winner of Edgar vs Maynard?
