The former Pride stand-out Mirko Cro Cop (27-9-2) has one more fight agreement on his contract with Zuffa LLC., which UFC president Dana White has verified will be honored as they are in works of setting up a bout as per Cro Cops request.

The Croatian is currently 5-5 in his last 10 bouts, with one no contest. Even more importantly, Cro Cop was knocked out twice recently by both Brendan Schaub and Frank Mir. Because of the severity of suffering a KO it is usually an indication of a required retirement. White however does not feel Cro Cop is at the level of say Liddell when he demanded his long time friends retirement.

“Do I think he should have retired? Yeah,” White said. “But I don’t think he’s in one of these situations like Chuck Liddell, who needed to retire right then. He’s a man, a grown man, and if he wants to continue to fight, that’s his right. And he still has a fight with me.”

Now that Cro Cops likely last battle is in motion, who would make a good challenger to finish off his illustrious career?
