Although Mark Munoz is not very well known for his wrestling inside the cage, he does indeed come from a wrestling background. This Saturday “The Filipino Wrecking Ball” will be officially inducted into the California State Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Munoz holds a 8-1 pro record, and was last in the octagon when he knocked out Kendall Grove at UFC 108 in April. The fighter is also one of the most decorated wrestlers, he is a two-time Big 12 champ as well as a back-to-back winner of All-American honors during his days at Oklahoma State University.

Munoz will be returning to the cage at UFC 117 in a middleweight bout against Yushin Okami.
