Josh Koscheck (14-4) has been forced to pull out of his bout against Paulo Thiago (12-1) due to an undisclosed injury. The bout was scheduled to take place at UFC 109 which is set for Feb 6th. So it looks like the new year is already off to more of the same as the injuries continue to run rampant on the UFC’s roster.

However, it has already been confirmed that Mike Swick will step in to replace his fellow American Kickboxing Academy team mate to take on Thiago at UFC 109. Mike Swick is recently coming off his loss to number one contender Dan Hardy who is set to take on GSP for the welterweight belt at UFC 111.
