Silva mocked his opponent Maia numerous times, dancing, running, and even cursing in portugese. The arguably greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world continued his antics to the point that the crowd boo’ed him, even chanting for “GSP” whom was not even fighting, but may be his next challenger.

Many, as myself were left in confusion by the ordeal. What would drive Silva to seemingly draw out the five rounds and run around the ring? Silva’s long time coach and manager, Ed Soares had some explanations in the interview below.
