You now you’re doing your job well when, after just one fight in the Octagon, you’re given a coaching role on a season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Such is the case with Justin Gaethje, who made his mark in the World Series of Fighting but jumped ship to the UFC, and made such an impression in his Octagon debut a week ago that he’ll now be coaching TUF 26 opposite Eddie Alvarez.

I don’t know much about Gaethje’s on-camera personality, so it’s impossible to say if he’ll make for compelling reality television. But good Lord will he and Alvarez bang it out when they eventually meet in the cage!
