In case you haven’t noticed, there’s been a lot more talk about Glover Teixeira fighting Jon Jones, and how that would go down, rather than his tilt today with Ryan Bader. Of course, the reason being that Teixeira is a pretty sizeable favourite heading into UFN 28, due to the fact he’s done nothing but impress since arriving in the UFC.

While some folks believe Teixeira may be able to give Jones a bigger run for his money than Alexander Gustafsson, that doesn’t change the fact that Bader is one dangerous man. After all, we are talking about decorated wrestler with considerable stopping power, who has scored wins over established vets like “Rampage” Jackson, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, and Jason Brilz.

So what does Bader think of the fact that there’s more than a few people already looking forwards to Jones-Teixeira? Not surprisingly, “Darth” doesn’t care for it. The former TUF winner recently told MMA

“It does piss me off that he’s talking about fighting Jon Jones, or all the fans are talking about the matchup for his title shot and totally overlooking me,” Bader said. “It does piss meoff when they’re doing that. He’s got a tough fight ahead of him, and I plan on going out there and upsetting the UFC’s plans and his plans. It gives you a little extra motivation. It’s going to be a rough night for him.”

We’ll see in just a few hours whether Bader can prove his doubters wrong. It’s going to be an interesting night.  UFC FN 28 will take place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and will be broadcast throughout the U.S. on FOX Sports 1.
