Last night, in the main event of UFC 216, longtime contender Tony Ferguson finally got a taste of gold when he defeated Kevin Lee and earned himself a shiny new interim lightweight championship belt. Okay, awesome. But what about the real belt? You know, the one held by champ Conor McGregor?

Well, according to UFC boss Dana White, the belts will be unified. He doesn’t know when – obviously, that’s up to the Irishman who now owns all the money – but it will happen.
