For all you Matt Hughes and Matt Serra fans out there, UFC president Dana White has some bad news.

Hughes and Serra engaged in a lengthy Twitter conversation recently that led to both fighters sounding down for a rematch with one another.

Both former champions haven’t fought in a few years, but they appeared ready to get back into the gym and train once again.

Well, White isn’t all for it.

“I get it, they don’t like each other,” White said (thanks to for the quotes). It’s not even a sideshow. This doesn’t need to happen.”

White credited both men with helping build the UFC to what it has become today, but made light of the weight both men have gained since retiring.

“Where are they going to fight, super heavyweight?” he asked.
