When President Dana White was questioned about the possibility of ever doing a cross-promotion with Strikeforce promotions, he was very adamant about the fact that he would NEVER work with them to bring Fedor to the UFC, because Fedor is not looking to fight the best.

“It will never happen in a million years said White.  They are a minor league.  Listen I have come to the realization and everyone else needs to too that Fedor (Emeliananko) doesn’t want to fight the best guys in the world.  Believe me when I tell you guys I have done everything in my power, I have flown to crazy parts of the world, done all this stuff, been on the phone for hours, not hung out with my kids on weekends because I’m on the phone with these lunatics and just can’t make the deal.  They don’t want to do it so we gotta get over it.”

When asked who he has been the most angry with:

“I’ve had a few.  I would probably have to say with Tito (Ortiz).  Tito and I had a relationship before we bought the UFC and things kind of went down between he and I at a critical time of the business.  I would have to say that was the most angry I’ve been.  Plus I was a lot angrier when this thing wasn’t doing well.  I’ve lightened up a little.”

When asked whether or not he is good at predicting fights:

“I’m the worst.  You never know in this sport.  You never know who’s going to win and who’s going to lose and that’s part of the excitement of it.”

When asked about James Toney getting involved in UFC:

“I’ll be the first one to call somebody out for putting on what I like to call a freak show.  A freak show meaning I know mixed martial artists, a guy who has a complete game, a stand-up game, a ground game, wrestling, could beat a boxer or any guy who has just one style.  James Toney came and chased me around, talking smack, calling me names, and that kinds of stuff.  He’s a guy who I’ve respected for years so I ended up making this fight.  Anything can happen when two guys get in there.  A guy that can punch like James Toney can and a guy who has a well-rounded game like Randy Couture.  It’s gonna be an interesting fight.”

On whether or not Anderson Silva and George St. Pierre will fight each other:

“People ask me that all the time.  This is what I believe.  I believe my job is to put on fights that people want to see.  I keep hearing that and if enough people want to see it, I guess I’m gonna have to do it.”
