Former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson looks to be stuck in limbo as Dana White admits that they cannot find a suitable opponent for the star. Following a grueling five-round war between Henderson and Shogun Rua, Henderson proved to be the victor. According to White, Henderson has been holding out for a title shot, which has caused the inactivity.

“He doesn’t want to fight Machida. He doesn’t want to wait. He’s going to have to wait. Who does he want to fight? I don’t know what to do with Dan. Dan’s either going to have to wait for (Jon) Jones or wait for (Anderson) Silva. Or fight somebody else.”

Now riding high in a division with pre-determined title implications, Henderson has said via twitter that he would consider a fight against Machida.

“Was never offered machida. And even though he has lost 3 out of his last 4, I’m sure it would be entertaining said Henderson.”
