Continuing with our listing of top ten fighters for each division, let’s move on to the light-heavyweights. Obviously, Jon Jones rules the weight class, but he was actually put in danger in his last fight. Regardless, there’s been a lot of movement in the division, and as of right now there are a few compelling matches on tap for the first quarter of 2013. Quinton Jackson takes on Brazilian bomber Glover Teixeira, Rashad Evans returns to face PRIDE star Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Dan Henderson takes on the always elusive Lyoto Machida, and of course Chael Sonnen gets a shot at the 205-title against Jones.

#10 James Te-Huna

A lot of people could have filled this spot, from Gegard Mousasi, Teixeira, or Nogueira. But Te-Huna took the spot because he has proven to be a great fighter so far. Riding a streak of 4-1 in the Octagon, he has only lost to top contender Alexander Gustafsson, and he’s finished three of his four wins by TKO/KO. He has a big challenge ahead of him when he takes on 17-1 Ryan Jimmo.
