We’ve seen former Strikeforce champ Cung Le step away from the sport of Mixed Martial Arts to film action scenes for Tekken, Fighing, and Pandorum. Now we see the UFC fighter take on a lead role with martial arts movie legend Jean-Claude Van Damme in “Dragon Eyes.” The story of a neighborhood terrorized by corrupt police officers. Le’s character Hong is released from jail and quickly fights to rid the corruption from his town with the help of his cell-mate and teacher (JCVD).

Le has recently been announced to be taking on former UFC middleweight champ Rich Franklin at UFC 148 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The card is expected to headline TUF coaches Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber for the bantamweight title.
