I’m not sure if you watch HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, but if you do, then you probably understand what a perfect fit UFC superstar Conor McGregor would be on the show – and I mean that in the biggest, “sword-swinging, chopping-off-heads” kind of way.

So of course there’s a rumor going around that McGregor might make an appearance on the show.

As per Metro:

The 28-year-old Irish mixed martial artist, who is the current UFC Lightweight Champion after beating Eddie Alvarez last month, is reportedly being lined up to appear in one of the remaining two seasons of the HBO fantasy drama.

Speaking to The Sunday Life, a source said: ‘It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game Of Thrones.

‘He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game Of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.’

It is by no means a done deal, though.
