Featherweight champ Conor McGregor always makes bold predictions before his fights, and the surprising thing is they’re often somewhat on the money – at least when he predicts knockouts and such.

But yesterday, on the UFC 205 conference call, McGregor had some things to say about what will happen to lightweight king Eddie Alvarez… and, uh, it had a lot to do with facial reconstruction.

As per MMAFighting (because I was too busy to transcribe the conference call myself):

“I feel [people are] going to see something they haven’t seen before. I’m going to toy with this man. I’m going to really, truly rearrange his facial structure. His wife and kids will never recognize him again. His friends and the people that he knows will know that he’s not the same man after this contest. So he’s going to be in a shock when he sees that. That’s it.”

Wow. Okay. Interesting stuff there, Conor.
