Always unique, Cody McKenzie has taken to Twitter to look for new employment.

McKenzie last fought for the UFC in December, falling via decision to Sam Stout. The bout was remembered more for McKenzie wearing store-bought gym shorts with the tag still on them, as he forgot his at the hotel.

The Ultimate Fighter alum started his career 12-0, but has gone 2-4 in his last six. No official confirmation has been made regarding his UFC release, but his posts on Twitter from McKenzie himself stated his release.

“Well I am back on Twitter, no longer with the UFC, and looking for fights,” he wrote a few days ago. “Promoters get at me. Looking to fight whoever.”

McKenzie continued, asking fans to “do me a favor and retweet I’m looking to fight Shinya Aoki cause I know there are some fans who want to watch that.

“I will be fighting in three weeks at 180 the next month at 170 then I am open will take fights from 145 to whatever, get at me.”

His messages have picked up over the past few days, though, as he wrote the following to World Series of Fighting president Ray Sefo.
