A man of his word (well, this time).  Chael P. Sonnen may have the gift of gab, but he does not have the power to see into the future. The proof shown in Sonnen’s bold prediction that he was so confident in his former training partner Dan Henderson’s victory that he told Evans he would “lick his shoe” if he were to lose. As you see, “The Gangster” leans over and gives Rashad’s converse kicks a good tongue shining.

Joking aside, the fans may have been unhappy with the lack of action in Lyoto Machida vs. Dan Henderson, but it doesn’t mean Dana White saw it the same. During the post-fight press conference, White clarified that Machida has defeated the top contender, making him the legitimate new top contender to take on the winner of Jones vs. Sonnen in April.
