Look out Minneapolis, Travis Browne’s going Squatchin’. USA Today has announced that Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will be taking on Travis Browne in the headline bout of UFC on FX 5 at the Target Center in Minneapolis on October 5.

Browne (13-0-1)was originally expected to appear on UFC on Fox 4 against Devin Cole when he lost his original opponent Ben Rothwell to injury. Now the undefeated Jon Jones training partner will look to take on a bigger name in the spotlight as he hopes to come into contender status with a win over “Bigfoot.”

Silva (16-4) may have had an unsuccessful debut in the UFC against former champ Cain Velasquez, but it doesn’t mean he takes to far drop as his credentials in Strikeforce promotions will carry him as the UFC awards Silva a headline fight. If you are unaware of the credentials I’m referring to, check up his victories over Fedor Emelianenko, Mike Kyle, and Andre Arlovski.

UFC on FX 5 will also feature the preliminary bouts live on Fuel TV as the events have done so in the past. Rumored for the card has also been Bart Palazewski vs. Diego Nunes.
