If there’s one thing rich people love, it’s getting even more rich. They just love it.

Such is the case with Leonard Ellerbe, the man behind the Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor bout on Saturday night. If pay-per-view tracking is to be believed, the epic fight made everyone involved so rich they can all make like Scrooge McDuck and dive into piles of gold coins now – if they weren’t able to do that already.

And of course, Ellerbe says McGregor is more than welcome to box again.

As per MMAJunkie:

“I was actually very surprised with his ability to do certain things,” Ellerbe said. “If he chooses to, he definitely has a future in boxing – if he chooses to. To be able to last as long as he did, he’s a very tough competitor. He has a big heart and, again, he’s showed a lot.

“Especially with this being his professional debut. He did the UFC proud, he did his country proud, and he should definitely keep his head up high.”

“Pay-per-view sales are looking very good,” Ellerbe said. “Everything is tracking very good. We should have a good indication early next week and we’ll be able to talk about that.

“Overall, it was a terrific promotion. I think both guys did a really good job. We kickstarted it with the tour, and I think that’s what generated all the interest from the fans across the world.”
