Michael “The Count” Bisping (22-3) looks to stay busy as he will take on Brazilian black belt, Demian Maia (15-3) at the second UFC on Fox event on Jan. 28 in Chicago, Illinois. This gives Bisping only a five week turn-around from his dismantling of Jason “Mayhem” Miller at the TUF 14 finale.

Riding a four fight win-streak in the UFC, Bisping hovers over title contention and with a win over Maia the U.K. star may be next in line for a title shot in the middleweight division. However he will be competing with Chael Sonnen and Mark Munoz’s performance that night, as both men have also been considered top contenders for Silva’s belt.

Maia a one time top contender would also be on a four fight win-streak should he have won his close bout with Mark Munoz in June. Coming off a recent win to Jorge Santiago at UFC 136, Maia has shown much improved wrestling and striking since his destruction at the hands of Anderson Silva.

It is being called the “triple header on Fox” as the event will headline Rashad Evans vs Phil Davis and now co-headline both Sonnnen vs Maia and Bisping vs Maia.
