After Bellator 90, no one thought it could get any better, but once again the organization had another night of amazing finishes. Last night’s Bellator 92 was filled with knockouts, crazy submissions, upsets, and the crowning of a new champion.

There is no such thing as a favorite in MMA, and Awad is the perfect example of that. He was not even supposed to be a part of the lightweight tournament, but an injury to Patricio Freire threw him into the gauntlet, where he has been passing with flying colors. He followed up his 31-second knockout in the opening round with a 43-second knockout of tournament favorite Brooks.
