The featherweight division’s latest  prospect, nicknamed “problems,” Robbie Peralta now has just that after failing his UFC on Fuel 9 post-fight random drug test. Peralta also lost his fight to Akira Corassani via unanimous decision that night in Stockholm. Found in his system according to the Stockholm regulating body was marijuana metabolites.

As part of his punishment for the failed test, Peralta will be required to attend a drug rehabilitation  course and will be ineligible to fight for six months. A similar penalty had recently been given to heavyweight Dave Herman for a positive read of marijuana in the system. Other notables recently failing for marijuana ‘metabolites’ include Nick Diaz and Matt Riddle — both of whom failed more than once for marijuana use. Diaz was handed a one-year suspension while Riddle was handed his walking papers.
