The saga of Fedor Emelianenko just goes on and on. It has been reported that the fighter is once again talking with the UFC, but Fedor’s next possible oppoent Antonio Silva’s manager Alex Davis, says that’s not the case.
Davis recently spoke with MMAWeekly Radio and stated that he and Silva are working on a possible match-up with Fedor, most likely in December.
“Right now, I’m working close with Strikeforce,” Davis said. “It looks like it’s possible that it’s going to be Fedor.”
And even though Fedor shocked the world with his loss against Fabricio Werdum, Silva stated he still would love a shot at the former champ.
“Fedor’s a legend of the sport, he unfortunately came to a defeat from Werdum, but he’s a guy everybody would like to fight and I’m no different,” said Silva. “I’d love to fight him.”
