MMA fans! In the mood for something different?

Maybe, you want to see a few soccer kicks? Maybe, you really don’t want to see any Reebok uniforms?

But, you don’t want to peruse YouTube or UFC Fight Pass — or, if you’re like me, a DVD collection (no, really). You want some live action.

Most weekends, you’d be out of luck.

But tomorrow, it’s “Easy Like Sunday Morning.”

That’s because ONE Championship 31: Odyssey of Champions gets underway in Jakarta, Indonesia tomorrow morning North American time — and the Singaporean MMA promotion promises a featherweight title bout among other big matches.

The action begins with preliminary bouts, to be broadcast free of charge on the ONE Championship Facebook page. First up is one of the promotion’s young stars in Hawaii native Angela Lee, who recently relocated to Singapore where she trains at Evolve MMA. Lee takes on Elene Pashnina of Russia in a women’s strawweight bout.

If you like what you see, the main card is available for $9.99 USD at

The main event pits the promotion’s featherweight titlist,¬†Narantungalag Jadambaa of Mongolia, against Russia’s undefeated Marat “Cobra” Gafurov.
